HELENA, Mont. — The first week of Montana’s 68th Legislative Session concluded on Friday. Legislators from across the state convened in Helena to discuss legislation.

Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen helped usher in the 68th Session with a speech in the Montana House of Representatives on Monday.

“What an honor you have been entrusted with to deliver on strengthening our state, creating more opportunities, solving challenges, inspiring our youth, and uniting our adults,” said Secretary Jacobsen.

“God bless you, God bless our beautiful state and everyone we serve.”

Secretary Jacobsen was also a guest speaker at the Montana Chamber of Commerce 2023 Business Days at the Capitol event, delivering updates on Montana’s business community. She was also proud to announce Montana received a record number of new business registrations in 2022.

“I’m proud to say that when I travel throughout the state, I consistently hear directly from Montana businesses that the Secretary of State’s Office provides exceptional customer service,” said Secretary Jacobsen.
