Secretary Christi Jacobsen, state officials to welcome Halloween trick-or-treaters to State Capitol
HELENA, Mont. — Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen will join state officials and state agencies in welcoming trick-or-treaters to the State Capitol on Halloween.
Lieutenant Governor Kristen Juras announced that families will are welcome to trick-or-treat on the south side of the State Capitol from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31.
The Lt. Governor also announced that Montana State Auditor Troy Downing, Superintendent of Public Instruction Elsie Arntzen, the Department of Labor and Industry, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Corrections, and the Legislative Services Division will provide treats for kids and families trick-or-treating on Tuesday afternoon.
Secretary Jacobsen reminds trick-or-treaters to be cautious of the cold temperatures, snow, and ice, while also reminding Montanans to be alert of kids and families as they travel to households around their neighborhood.
