HELENA, Mont. — Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen will host Halloween trick-or-treaters at the Montana State Capitol on Friday, October 31, from 4-6 p.m.
Secretary Jacobsen and her colleagues will hand out full-sized candy bars and invite all Montana kids and families to join in the fun. Several other offices and state agencies will participate with Secretary Jacobsen in providing treats.
“I’m excited to share a spooktacular evening with Montanans at the Montana State Capitol,” said Secretary Jacobsen. “Come one and all to show off your costumes and enjoy delicious full-sized candy bars. Happy Halloween, Montana!”
Secretary Jacobsen reminds Montana drivers to be alert to children and families as they travel to households around their neighborhood. She also urges trick-or-treaters to be safe when crossing the street, walk in groups with a chaperone, and be cautious of potential cooling temperatures in the evening.
