BILLINGS, Mont. — Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen was honored to attend the groundbreaking celebration for Intermountain Health’s “once-in-a-generation” new hospital.
The new St. Vincent Regional Hospital will fully replace the current St. Vincent facility in the Magic City. According to officials, this week’s groundbreaking ceremony kickstarts the project, which is expected to be completed in 2029.
“I was honored to attend the groundbreaking for this state-of-the-art hospital, which serves as a testament to the commitment of advancing healthcare in Billings and Montana,” said Secretary Jacobsen. “This new facility will allow doctors, nurses, and staff to provide excellent care to patients across our state.”
Officials say the new facility will be a 14-story hospital with 243 patient beds, with space available for additional patients, if needed. Patient rooms and all operating rooms are designed to adapt to the type of care and/or procedure required, which officials say will “allow for more efficient care.”
