HELENA, Mont. — Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen is pleased to announce that the Business Services Division was honored at the Governor’s Awards for Excellence in Performance on Monday. The 35th annual event recognizes state employees who have gone above and beyond in their service to the people of Montana.
The Secretary of State’s Business Services Division provides exceptional customer service to Montana businesses. The team assists businesses with startup registration, name reservations, and filing and accessing documents. It also provides additional resources to help businesses across the Treasure State thrive in their communities.
During the ceremony, the Business Services Division was recognized for its “exceptional dedication to serving Montanans during consecutive years of record new business growth under Secretary Jacobsen’s leadership.”
“Their willingness to put in extra time, work together as a collaborative team, and genuinely care for the customers they serve has directly supported my agency’s efforts to remove red tape, reduce fees, and make it easier to do business in Montana,” said Secretary Jacobsen. “Business owners across the state have taken notice, sharing their positive experiences with our team. I’m proud of their dedication and service to the businesses of Montana!”
Receiving the honor on Monday were Pam B., Stephanie K., Julie L., Melissa L., Kelley M., and Brandt V. Each recipient of the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Performance received a plaque commemorating the recognition.
