Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen announced the opening of the fifth annual Constitution Contest for Montana’s students, focusing on the theme “What does the Declaration of Independence mean to me?”
Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen is honored to be selected as co-chair of the Business Services Committee for the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS). Secretary Jacobsen was selected after being recognized by her national peers for making it easier to do business in Montana – cutting registration fees, waiving and eliminating several other fees, and saving Montana businesses millions of dollars yearly.
Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen voted to approve projects involving Montana state trust lands estimated at more than $2.5 million during Monday’s Land Board meeting. More than $2.3 million would be generated from timber projects in western Montana and oil and gas lease sales across the state.
